“Girls with Heart” Student Scholarship Awards 

We are thrilled to share our “Girls with Heart” Scholarship opportunity with our 2023 Chicago STEM Goes Red participants.



This year, the “Girls with Heart” program will award three (3) scholarships:  one $5,000 two-year grant ($2,500 each year) and two single-year grants of $2,500 to qualifying applicants. 

Qualification Requirements:

• Previous Chicago STEM Goes Red event participant 
• Must be 16 or older
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Identify as female
• U.S. citizen/permanent resident of the U.S.

Application submissions for the 2023 “Girls with Heart” Scholarship will be accepted via email to ChicagoSTEM@heart.org through December 20, 2023. The three (3) awarded scholarship recipients will be notified by January 31, 2024.
